Today's shining glory: only breaking out into massive, sobbing hysterics once (yet - the evening is still young) while trying to get to the bathroom. I'm proud of myself!! I think it only took me 20-25 minutes, too, which is amazing! Okay, okay, Dom basically carried me most of the way up there, but I made it down myself!!
I know I've been MIA lately, and that sucks. This is an RA blog after all, and I've got some RA crap on the go. Despite the fact that most of my time is spent on my couch watching television ALL day long, I do have pretty big things going on in my life, most of which are not fun.
More of a long-winded post, full of depressing crap* soon, I promise!!
* Okay, so my life is not total crap :) I feel with all this stuff, my relationship is getting stronger, I can appreciate those tiny little victories so much, and Christmas is a season I love very much. While, I'm not getting as much accomplished as I'd like (fun shopping, baking, hanging out, etc.), it's still a beautiful time of the year up here in Labrador!
Aw Pony so sorry to hear that :( how rotten for you. But hey, you'll be up to date with all the tv shows and news items! so you'll wow people with your amazing facts and opinions. seriously though..hang in there. have you been to your rheumatologist?
ReplyDeleteBwa ha ha!! The thing is, we don't have cable or satellite so I'm just watching Netflix and borrowed t.v. series, none of which are new :D I can't claim to be up to date on anything right now!! I'm livin' in a bubble I tell ya :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen my rheumatologist because we don't have one in Labrador. The closest one is a couple hour plane ride away :( However, my GP is really good, and since I just had an x-ray today, I'll be seeing him really soon.
Hope all is well with you! I should go catch up on my blog reading :)
Wishing you a speedy recovery and enough money to invest in a tv expansion upgrade. What! No cable or satellite? If you have internet access you can always go watch tv on that. Truly, hoping that you flare takes a hike and soon.
ReplyDelete*hugs* If I could build you a flat house with a conveyor belt hallway in it, I would. I hope you feel tons better soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Deb :) The thing is, I don't even want cable or satellite! We do get to watch all of our shows with internet, it's just that I seem to get caught up in older stuff, leaving me somewhat behind the times :D
ReplyDeleteNadine, I hadn't even thought about a conveyor belt!! I've fantasized mostly about a hovercraft, or a wheelchair that Dom can push/pull me around in :)
Dear Pony, I hope so much you're feeling better soon. And I hope the holidays are good to you, with some pie somewhere in the mix of goodies (OK, I know pie isn't a traditional Christmas thing — do people eat pumpkin pie? I have no clue...but anyway). My point? Eat pie. You will feel better, even if just for two teeny-tiny minutes. :)
ReplyDelete:) L
P.S. Have you ever watched Life with Damian Lewis? Lasted just two seasons, but very good!
I would also recommend "Bones", "Firefly", "Mad Men", and "United States of Tara". :D
