Yay!

So, my last dose of methotrexate is done. Over. Finis. You can call me one happy girl, indeed :) AND, it turns out that I am not the disease-ridden monster incapable of bearing and caring for children. Nope, as it tuns out, my first appointment with our ob/gyn was amazing and he was very confident in my health and impressed with our plan and research. Basically, he said, "go have a baby!"

Smiles :)

  1. Congrats! Unfortunately, I am on the other end of the spectrum. I am entering week 5 on MTX. I am finding some positives but the day after fog is tough to deal with. I wish you the absolute best in your road towards having a child. My great grandmother had childhood RA and said that the RA vanished while she was pregnant. Might explain why she had 12 kids. Anyway my best wishes...kids are awesome! We were only blessed with one, but I think God only gave us what we could handle! Take care, Mike...

  2. Thanks folks! Mike, I am very sorry to hear that you are in the same boat! I am totally banking on the remission during pregnancy (I don't know about 12 kids, though...you're grandmother sounds pretty amazing!) All the best of luck with the mtx, I hope it kicks in soon :) I hear ya with the fog, but some weeks are better than others. Take care of yourself!

I'm off to check out your blog :D
